English Test
Air Traffic Controller (ATC) English test is designed for air traffic controllers, flight information service officers (FISOs), and other aviation professionals who provide air traffic control services.
Air traffic controllers are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aircraft in the airspace under their control. They must be able to communicate effectively with pilots, other air traffic controllers, and other personnel to ensure the smooth flow of traffic. The ICAO English test for air traffic controllers assesses the candidate’s ability to understand and respond to pilot communications, understand and use standard phraseology, read and interpret flight-related documentation, and communicate effectively in a range of operational situations.
The test includes five proficiency levels: Expert, Extended, Operational, Pre-operational, and Non-operational, with Expert being the highest level.
How it works

2. Take the test
Setup your webcam and microphone and take the test. You can even use your smartphone.
3. Live video call
Schedule and attend a 15 minute online video call with the assessor.
4. Get the result
You will receive the results within 2 working days by email.
Which countries accept our online ICAO Language Proficiency Test?
If you require an English Language Proficiency test, and your license is issued by one of the states below you are able to take your English Language Proficiency with us. The countries below accept our language certificate through EASA mutual recognition according to REGULATION (EU) 2018/1139 Article 67.
